Artist's Description

The old truck gave it's all to the miners in Hey Joe Canyon. Located in a side canyon of the Green River in southeast Utah, the canyon is littered with old mining relics, too cumbersome to pull out up the long windy road to the top of the rim. The harsh desert sun, rain and flash floods slowly reclaims man made objects into the desert landscape. Paint, iron and wood take on a lively color scheme as the patina morphs into dust.
